Streszczenie w języku polskim

This article examines how acculturation is constructed through mediatised discourse in Russian-language YouTube vlogs about Bulgaria. The study is based on the published Corpus92 v1.1.172 dataset, comprising 92 verified videos from 10 Russian-language YouTube channels, 92 Russian transcripts, 1,556.5 minutes of video material and 174,555 words. Corpus92 dataset DOI: https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.20309963. The article applies a publication-based corpus-discourse design in which W3, W2 and W1 denote stages in the discursive evolution of channel narratives rather than the vloggers’ biographical stages of migration. The analysis combines computer-assisted corpus screening with the ContextAuto v2.5 coding layer and genre-sensitive interpretation of channel-level profiles. The results show increasing host-context framing from W3 to W1, declining frequency and structural intensity of source/home comparison and growing normalisation of Bulgarian lexical repertoires. Hybridity is observed mainly not through frequent code-switching but through Russian-language mediation of Bulgarian institutions, practices and everyday realities. Berry’s model remains a useful starting point, but it requires genre- and media-sensitive interpretation when applied to YouTube channel discourse.
