Jan Gustaw Rokita – PhD in history from the Faculty of Historical and Social Sciences at the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University, a chairman of Góra Kalwaria City Council (8th term 2018–2021). He is an author of numerous articles on medal designing in the times of John III Sobieski published i.e., „Zeszyty Naukowe Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego”, „Studia Historyczne”, „Biuletyn Numizmatyczny”, and other prestigious journals: „Seminare”, „Res Historica”, „Studia Europaea Gnesnensia”. Research interests: medallic art and painting of modern times.
