Heads of assayer offices in the Kingdom of Poland in the years 1882–1915. Biographical notes
Abstract
The aim of the article is to present biographical notes of heads of assayer administration in the Kingdom of Poland at the turn of the 19th century. These officers had specialist higher education, many years experience in mining administration, practice in overseeing excavation and sales of precious metals.
