Ph.D. Affiliated with the Department of Contemporary Lexicology and Lexicography, the Czech Language Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences. She contributes to the Academic Dictionary of Contemporary Czech, her expertise area being in the processing of idioms. For a number of years, she has focused on ethnolinguistically oriented research. She is the author of the monograph The Woman in the Czech Traditional Worldview. An Ethnolinguistic Study (2020). She also teaches Czech as a foreign language.

Doctoral student at the Czech Language Department, the Faculty of Education of Charles University in Prague. Currently employed at the Czech Language Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences. Member of the team involved in the compilation of the Academic Dictionary of Contemporary Czech. Her research interests focus on contemporary Czech with a special emphasis on lexicology, word formation, cognitive linguistics, and didactics of the first language.
