Larissa Luica is a researcher at the Centre Régional francophone d'Etudes avancées en sciences sociales (CEREFREA Villa Noël) at the University of Bucharest and a lecturer at the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literatures, Department of French Language and Literature. She has held a doctorate in French, Francophone and comparative literature from the Université Bordeaux Montaigne since 2013 and is the author of Autobiographie et pseudo-autobiographie dans l'œuvre de Driss Chraïbi. She has taken part in or is currently part of the team for several research projects on French-language literature in the Maghreb and Mashreq, gender studies and discrimination. Her research interests include francophone literature, autobiography, women's writing, representations of conflict, comic strips and gender studies.
